UULTI 2008: Live the Promise • Turn Outward in Faith
Register Online Here

UULTI (Unitarian Universalist Leadership Team Institute) is a remarkable week-long residential learning experience. Its practical tools and powerful ideas will help you renew faith, embrace congregational growth and change, welcome and nurture all, and fulfill the hopeful loving promise of Unitarian Universalism in the wider world. Individuals will forge new partnerships, teams will be strengthened, and all will be inspired and empowered. Return to your congregation and help it grow into a more loving, thriving community of prophetic word and deed.

Who should attend?
Board members, ministers, committee chairs, religious education professionals, treasurers, administrators, musicians, and other current or emerging leaders. In particular:
bullet Individuals from smaller congregations, encouraged (by discounts!) to form geographically-based learning teams.
bullet Teams from larger congregations that include lay leaders, part-time or full-time ministers, and all other congregational staff.

Special care will be taken to satisfy the needs of ALL kinds of congregations.
From small to large, stable and transitioning, rural and urban, struggling and thriving . . . AND everyone in between! All congregations benefit from covenanted teamwork. Did you send a team last year? Send the same or another team. Repeat tracks or select alternate ones. Build a critical mass of leaders who share the UULTI experience.

Each participant will select one of five learning tracks.
bullet Governance: Structure community life and polity to “Nurture Your Spirit. Help Heal Our World.”
bullet Growth: Lead to and through change, reverse declines and “break through” plateaus and beyond.
bullet Lifespan Faith Development: Enhance faith and action through religious education and small group ministry.
bullet Stewardship: Connect pledging to vision. Awaken responsibility, interdependence and hope.
bullet Worship Arts: Foster compelling, transcendent experiences. Create sacred space for all church activities.

bullet All tracks address aspects of small, mid-sized, and large congregations.
bullet All tracks address public witness, community outreach, and social justice.

Each participant will enliven their personal growth journeys by working with experts in:
The Multigenerational Community • Congregations as Dynamic Systems • Leadership as a Spiritual Path
The History of UU Evangelism and Social Action • Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression, and Multi-Culturalism

Costs $595 per person. Cost-sharing by individuals and their congregation is encouraged.
Discounts worth $20 - $70 will be available for early registrations and individuals that form teams.
